Henrik was lucky when the decision of moving the German scullers’ main training spot to Hamburg was made since he was born in Hamburg, still lives in the city with his girlfriend Lara and is a university student in Hamburg as well. Of course, he knows the Hamburg Alster and the race course in Allermöhe very well. With his meanwhile 22 years, he isn’t as experienced as others and perhaps this is the reason he got no place in the team this season, for now. Because in the double scull he wants to attack with Anton Finger at the U23 World Championship and draw attention to themselves.
